Everything you need to know about the IPMAT: An entrance exam conducted by IIM’s for admission to Five Year Integrated Programme in Management
Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is for students after class XII who aim to pursue a career in Business Management. It is a comprehensive management program that has a combined course of management studies from undergraduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG). The program aims at molding outstanding young students into managers and leaders. Upon successfully completing the academic rigor of 5 years, the participant will be awarded Integrated Programme in Management (BBA+MBA) by IIM Rohtak. The students will have to maintain a minimum CGPA of 5 in their first three years to be eligible for the last two years of the program to earn a master’s degree. Students below 5.0 CGPA will be awarded a BBA degree and will exit the program with a CGPA, not below 4.0. Also, if any student voluntarily intends to exit the program after successfully completing the program requirement at the end of 3 years, he/she will be awarded a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) on notifying the office about the exit within the stipulated time in the third year of the Programme.
Overall, the programme consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years. A year has three terms, each of approximately 3 months in duration. The entire program is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on management. Students will be undergoing internships at the end of every academic year.

IPM Rohtak Eligibility Criteria | IPMAT
For Categories – Gen, OBC, EWS: Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations
For Categories – SC, ST, and PWD (DAP) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations
All applicants must have a maximum age of 20 years during the application stage.
IPM Rohtak Selection Stages | IPMAT
Stage 1:
- Interested candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria will have to fill an online registration form which will evaluate the applicant’s proficiency in not only academics but also extra-curricular activities.
- Applicants will also have to pay a one-time non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 4175/- (Four Thousand One Hundred Seventy-Five Only).
Stage 2:
- Candidates will appear for the IPMAT-Rohtak Exam taken by IIM Rohtak.
Stage 3:
- Personal Interview (PI): Those candidates who clear the Aptitude Test round will be eligible for the Personal Interview which will be administered by the admissions committee.
Stage 4:
- The final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score as mentioned below:

The intake of students into the IIM Rohtak IPM Program is 150 with the reservation criterion according to the Government of India rules.

A total duration of 2 hours will be provided to answer a total of 120 questions distributed across three sections.
Marking scheme
- Every correct answer carries 4 marks
- Every incorrect answer carries -1 marks

IIM Rohtak IPM applications are filled out online on the official website on or before April of the respective year. To fill out the application form for the program, check the steps below:
- Visit the official website of IIM Rohtak: iimrohtak.ac.in
- On the homepage, navigate to the Programmes section
- From the courses, select IPM
- Navigate to the IPM 2023 Registration link
- Fill in the required details to Register for User ID and Password
- Upon filling in all the credentials, click Submit
